In village Vanapuri a Handicraft center was started & 15 women were trained in the art of making soft toys.

Women’s Co-operative farming project was launched in Vanapuri in May 1997.

Workshop was conducted in Fair Trade Practices for farmers from 5 villages (17 numbers) 5 mediators of fruit & vegetables & 5 customers who buy fruits & vegetables.

For rural & urban teachers in creative & experiential learning in which 27 rural & 30 urban teachers participated. The workshop was sponsored by Industries.

Organized an exhibition on occasion of women’s day on March 8th 1999, rural and urban women entrepreneurs who displayed their goods & handicrafts 200 entrepreneurs participated. A seminar also held in the Institute auditorium.
